I was born and raised in Vietnam, with food at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. My mother raised me and my sister by selling street food in the markets of Central Vietnam, from bánh mì to phở, doing whatever helped feed our family.

I did not realize until I began creating content just how deeply food connects people and cultures. That is why I founded Curious About Vietnam, sharing my experiences publicly through my content as Ms. Yummyface. My goal has always been the same, to help others experience Vietnamese food in a way that feels warm, human, and real.​
​Today, I work with a small team of amazing people to run food tours in Hanoi and create food maps highlighting my favorite places to eat across Vietnam. I also share stories, videos, and bite sized guides for curious eaters who want to understand Vietnam through its food. Whether it is your first trip or your fifth, I am here to help you eat with confidence and curiosity.​
Feed the Kids Initiative
We are proud to be able to sponsor a full year of school lunches for 5 underprivileged children across Vietnam from 2024-2026.

Buying a simple meal for kids in these areas serves two important purposes. First, it gives them the nourishment they need to grow up healthy and develop a positive outlook on childhood and life. Second, it provides a strong incentive for them to attend - and stay in - school. For some of these children, a good meal might be the highlight of their day.

My goal is to continue providing lunch for the first five children through the end of their formal education, and to add more kids each year. If I can get to 50 children in five years, that would be amazing!
