Where True Food Lovers Discover Their Yummyface!

About Us

I was born and raised in Vietnam, and food has been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. My mother raised me and my sister by selling street food in the markets of Central Vietnam, from bánh mì to phở, whatever helped feed the family.

I didn’t realize until I began creating content just how deeply food connects people and cultures. That’s why I started Yummyface Food Tours. I want you to take home the same warm and lasting memories of Vietnamese food that I had growing up. That will make my mother proud.

Today, I have a small team of amazing human beings that help me run food tours in Hanoi. I’ve also created food maps of my very favorite things to eat across 9+ cities. And I’m still sharing stories, videos, and bite-sized guides for curious eaters like you. Whether it’s your first trip or your fifth, I’m here to help you discover the real & authentic Vietnam.

Feed the Kids Initiative

After a recent eye-opening visit to the rural areas of Northern Vietnam, we’ve decided to join the Nuôi Em foundation. Through this initiative, we’re able to sponsor a full year of school lunches for 5 underprivileged children across Vietnam.

Buying a simple meal for kids in these areas serves two important purposes. First, it gives them the nourishment they need to grow up healthy and develop a positive outlook on childhood and life. Second, it provides a strong incentive for them to attend - and stay in - school. For some of these children, a good meal might be the highlight of their day.

My goal is to continue providing lunch for the first five children through the end of their formal education, and to add more kids each year. If I can get to 50 children in five years, that would be amazing!

For those of you joining us on a food tour in Vietnam, a portion of your payment will go toward supporting this cause. If you can’t join us but would still like to contribute, you can donate to my “Feed the Kids” fund via PayPal. Just add “FOR THE KIDS” in the note so I know where the money needs to go.
