CANCELLATION POLICIES 

Group Tours
You can make a soft reservation anytime. We usually start confirming group tours about 2 weeks before the tour date. If your name is on our list, you’ll have priority when confirmations open.
**No payment is needed until your booking is confirmed.

Private Tours
You can reserve as early as you like. Private tour bookings are typically confirmed 30–45 days before your requested date(s).
**No payment is needed until your booking is confirmed.

Payment & Cancellations

Payment is only required once your booking has been confirmed.

We understand that travel plans can change. All cancellations are subject to a nonrefundable 10% payment processing and administrative fee, regardless of when the cancellation is made. This fee applies to all paid bookings and is separate from the cancellation fees below.

If you need to cancel closer to your tour date, the following additional cancellation fees will apply:

​

• More than 7 days before your tour: 10% payment processing and administrative fee only.

• 5 to 7 days before: 35% cancellation fee (includes the 10% processing fee).

• Within 96 hours (4 days): 50% cancellation fee.

• Within 48 hours (2 days): 100% cancellation fee.

Date changes requested after payment has been made are subject to a 25% rebooking fee.

No exceptions will be made to this policy.

Weather & Cancellation Policy

Our tours run rain or shine, as weather is part of the authentic local experience. If it does rain/shower during your tour, we will provide a poncho to help keep you dry.

That being said, safety always comes first. If extreme weather—such as flooding, strong storms, or unsafe heat conditions—prevents us from running the tour, we will:

    •    Offer a full refund, or

    •    Help you reschedule for another available date.

 

If you choose to cancel due to normal rain or mild weather while the tour is still running, we can offer a 50% refund as a courtesy to help cover guide preparation and vendor commitments.
